Trip to Houston

My sister and I thought it would be fun to take all the grandkids to see my parents for a week. Little did we know how much longer a trip would seem with 4 kids asking how much longer?? On the way down to my parents we thought we would stop half way and see our grandmother and aunts. The trip started out well until we got to the Oklahoma City area where Ben decided to throw up EVERYWHERE! He continued to throw up the rest of the way to Dallas...boy was that fun! Ben and I decided to stay in a hotel so we would not make my grandma sick in case he had something contagious. He was fine the next morning so we made a quick stop to see my Grandma and then went on to my parent house.We finally made it to our parent's house and were very glad to be there! We had a great trip and the kids had a great time playing together. I am pretty sure we wore Grandma and Grandpa out! The kids favorite thing was the Houston Zoo. They had a lot of fun seeing all of the animals and the fun things to do there! We will definately have to go back there the next time we go! We managed to make the trip home in about 9 hours and we are really glad to see Daddy!!!

Daddy Daughter Fun

John took Bailey to their second Daddy Daughter Dance. This is a very special time for Bailey that she really looks forward too! She loves getting all dressed up and having Daddy take her out to eat and then to the dance. She thinks that she is a real big girl:) This is a great tradition that John has started with Bailey.
