TJ

Every year at the camp the group Special Touch comes for a week. Special Touch is a camp for adults with special needs. This is always a difficult week but also so rewarding for the camp. Last year Bailey met a college student with CP named TJ. TJ came back this year and he and Bailey became great friends. We had to find TJ anytime we went to down to camp. TJ could not talk so he used a computer on his wheelchair to talk for him. Bailey loved to talk to him but one of their favorite things to do was to give each other the pound (like a high five but you use your fist). This was a great time to teach Bailey that God made us all different and that we are all special in God's eyes. It made me very proud to watch Bailey with TJ and how she was very gentle and patient with him. I have always had a heart for people with special needs and I think Bailey will too!
